Hi Michael. It was great meeting you and watching you present at Podcast Academy Boston. I got a lot out of your presentation, and it gave me a sense of how to model the business idea I’ve been noodling around with. I actually changed my perspective a bit and made a different plan after having seen your presentation. (Note to people considering going to see Michael speak: it’s worth it).
I’ve got the book on order, because I’m worried you’ll show up behind me some day at an Apple store and try to talk to me about it.
Based on your advice, I shot my first video podcast right outside BU, and hope to have it all edited into something useful shortly.
Is it safe to say that your book would suggest a great less-expensive rig that would still be capable of decent audio sound? I’m using a pilfered Plantronics headset (meant for VoIP calls), a laptop, and Audacity.
You might find a friend’s movie blog interesting. Fake Movie Critic is a site devoted to the slightly less-than-main-audience films Annette reviews. I’ll certainly point her towards your show.
Great to see you in Boston!
