Love the ‘Attack of the Clones’!!!! As always a *fantastic* discovery- you’ve prob. driven their traffic up by 150%. Of course, they challenged with such brilliance as ‘James Bond: The Living Daylights ‘ and ramped it up with ‘Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan’, so hey! maybe no major challenge at all.
Ronan, My name is Rich and I am one of the hosts of Movies You Should See. I have a few questions to ask you.
Challenged who in what way? Are you trying to say that ReelReviews are the best podcast ever and we were foolish to ‘challenge’ them?
Let me assure you Ronan, that we were until recently completely unaware of ReelReviews and were certainly unaware that we were challenging them in any way. Are you the kind of guy who only listens to one show? I’m not daft enough to assume that our is the only movie based talk show our listeners get each week, so why should ReelReview listeners have to be exclusive. Try browsing around and listening to what other people have to say on a given subject. After all, is anyone any more correct than anyone else? When it comes to liking movies, it’s all down to personal taste. Besides that are the only movies worth watching the ones recommended by ReelReviews? Does a movie only become worth watching when its been featured on this podcast? Something to think about before you start having a go at other people, in the childish way I would expect to hear from a teenager who thinks they know everything. I’m sure that the people who run ReelReviews put a link to our site in good faith, rather than to start an unprovoked attack on somebody based on the fact that they simply recommend movies. If we were only allowed one podcast on every topic then the iTunes directory would be pretty empty.
Good luck to ReelReviews, I hope you enjoy podcasting as much as we do.
Tetchy tetchy Rich! Who was ever “having a go” at you? Relax with the childish/ teenager jibes, I’m sure your show is just fantastic and a worthy addition *in its own right* to the iTunes library.
Hope you don’t mind if don’t answer all your questions, however you’ve given me an idea that might address them- lookout for my future production: “Podcasts You Should Listen To” (or maybe “Podcasts Worth Listening To”, not sure which is more catchy… )
