Reel Review #50: “I’m just like you, except I’m sitting down.” This is a great documentary from Think Film about quadriplegic rugby. An intense film about some intense athletes. “What? You ain’t going to hit a kid in a chair? I’ll hit you back.”

Moze,
No worries, a difference of opinion is what makes horse races. I’ll try to give a listen to your podcast on Murderball. I have to admit, though - it is still sticking with me.
Thanks for listening.
absoluty, i guess my big beef is that this does not seem to be the same cut as the one i saw in april 05. for as much as i loved zupan et. al. i think there may have been better choices of what to show in the cut. sometimes they just looked like punks w/ a chip on their shoulder.
keep it up.
i havent just had twins an havent done areview in a while

you spend too much time talking about the subject of the movie - what murderball is, and narrating the movie, rather than reviewing the movie.
Is this site even running anymore? 2 podcasts in 2 months?
Johnson,
You’ll see a new Reel Review shortly.
I saw and loved Murderball but sad to say, the scenes of them watching the Tampa Oakland SuperBowl debacle took me out for a few minutes. Tampa had beaten the Eagles in a major upset that left Philly shellshocked for weeks! I like many other Eagles fans were too down to watch the game even 2 weeks later and this movie brings me into the home of Tampa fans. Ouch! The power of just a few minutes of film.
