Hey great choice! I'd been shown this film before and your show helped me decide to buy it. Your taste in movies mirrors mine on so many accounts. :)

Hello Michael,

Just listened to your Reel Review on Swimming With Sharks. It's one of those films that's very popular within the industry. Did that Sweet & Low scene many times in acting classes and showcases here in Montreal. Thanks for bringing this film back. It really deserves it!

I went to high school with director George Huang (Rolling Hills HS, Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA). Actually, he was a good friend of my older brother's. They both graduated in '86, a couple years before me, but I remember seeing George around quite a bit. He was VERY intelligent, the kind of guy you thought could do just about anything he wanted to.
Naturally, we heard about Swimming with Sharks very early on, and loved it. I never heard anything more about what George was up to through the grapevine, but clearly one great movie with some great acting does not guarantee a life time of success in the business.

Another great movie (you have impeccable taste) and another great review. I'll have to go out and buy the 10th Anniversary DVD...and give my old DVD to some lucky soul. Man, they keep coming out with Special Edition DVDs of movies I already bought on DVD years ago. It's great, but sheesh. ;)
