When I was at lunch the other day with Tim and Dennis, I couldn’t help but tell them how happy I was with my newest pocket camera, the Canon SD500. I like it so much, I have finally started using my Flickr account and posting pictures. Small, 7.1 megapixels, great pictures and even a movie mode. What’s not to like? That camera is just the divine videoblog/digicam wonderment. Small to make sure I get good pics and ALWAYS have a basic videocam by my side. Great choice.
I just ordered one of these today and I’m hoping to have it in time for Gnomedex. It was a toss-up between this and the Nikon S1. I love the size and finish on the Nikon but I really wanted a 7 megapixel camera and the SD500 appears to be the camera to beat. Good to know that you like it. I’m looking forward to mine.
