Excellent job…enjoyed the great shows from July 15-17th. Do you know where the podcasts from the May 4th-5th festivities might be available? It appears they are no longer on the disney site.

Thanks to everyone for the kinds words. We had a lot of fun producing the Disney podcasts. David had asked about the opening music. That was supplied by Disney and is their own composition for a music bed. (Sounds a lot like Coldplay though.)

Hi Michael,
Your Disneyland podcasts were the first I’ve ever listened to and I really enjoyed them. You have an easy to listen to friendly voice and you make it “sound” like we are there. Thanks!
Wishful thinking – How wonderful it would be if you did more on Disneyland, like an audio tour. One could stand in a spot and listen to your podcast describing fun facts surrounding that area and it would also be a great way to while away the time when waiting in line. There are thousands of us who repeatedly visit Disneyland that would enjoy learning more about the park we love.

P.S. – I was wondering what is the piece of music that is heard at the very beginning of your Disneyland podcasts. Sounds familiar but I can’t quite identify it.

Just listened to your Disney ‘casts and they are excellent, as I have come to expect from you. When the history of podcasting is written, this will be pointed to as the seminal event when podcasting changed from being a hobby to an occupation. Could you please do all of us podcasters a favor and post another “Podcast about the Podcast” focusing on how you put this together, particularly the soundseeing portions?

Thanks to everyone who is commenting. I have been so busy, I haven’t had a chance to post replies or comments. When everything is finsihed, I’ll put together a comprehensive post on the whole experience. Doing the first (I know of) record all day, edit at night podcast, I am learning a lot – such as how to survive on 2 hours sleep a night. However, I am having a blast! DIsney has been awesome. As an example, tonight we were on the “Gold Carpet” for a celebrity event. It ran the entire length of Main Street – read LONG! We were in position #2 and they directed everyone to us, what more can you ask for? I just forwarded the latest file (5:00 AM) and need to get an hour or two of sleep before my scheduled interview with Michael Eisner. Thanks again.
