A number of people have asked about the Flash player I use on the site. It certainly helps first time visitors to listen and get a feel for the show. It is an opensource project. Find all the details at the XSPF Web Music Player page.

Michael,
I’ve implemented the Flash player on my site, but have not figured out how to get it to work with a hollowed out RSS feed that I have pulled together with all of my podcasts. When I point it to my PHP generated RSS feed that Wordpress writes I only get one enclosure right now (all that is currently on the feed due to my blog posts)… my question is what feed have you pointed yours at and how is the feed generated? I’ve looked at your source and can’t figure it out.
See you next week,
–
Tim
Tim,
The flash player uses its own XML type playlist file which you must create and upload to your server. It does not pull from your RSS feed. There is some information about it on the player sourceforge page I linked to above. Hope that helps.
