Chris, thanks for the comment.

As for your question on whether I had done any film review prior to the podcast, the answer is simple - no. I don't really like to write all that much. I end up spending too much time editing and trying to perfect each little argument. That is why I like the podcast format so much. I am much better suited for speech. The last time I did any writing about film was in college. I took a literature minor so I could study film from the narrative perspective (there was no film major or minor). That sounds fancier then it really is - I just loved movies and wanted to be able to study them in school. That was the way to accomplish it. I still have all my film related papers and essays. Maybe if I review some of those films I

Kudos on the props, Michael. That article alluded to the fact that, while podcasting's still in its infancy, a majority of podcasts are just plain bad. It rightly recognized that you sort of hit the ground running with yours.

Now I know you're a serious video/audio-phile, and your DVD collection is vast relative to mine, but had you written or covered film reviews (in any capacity, amateur or otherwise) before starting the 'cast back in October? It sure seems that way. Anyhow, I'm jonesing for the next review.

Happy New Year!
