Glad to see you got a chance to see it and I would love to hear more about what you thought. That crazy QT is always getting something from somewhere. I swear every movie I watch I see something new that QT used in one of his movies. Just last week I finally saw the original Gone in 60 Seconds and he takes something from that for Kill Bill. Don’t get me wront I love the guy and I think he does a great job with what he choses to borrow and how he makes it his own. Also! I looked over your DVD list and there was a movie I didn’t see there so I don’t know if you’ve seen it or not (of course, if your like me, just because you own it doesn’t mean you watched it either) but the movie is Boondock Saints. I can honestly say that I despised this movie, but its always nice to hear someone elses opinion, even if they are wrong
MikeC, funny you should mention Boondock Saints. I have never seen the film, but actually wrote up a quick post regarding a fascinating documentary I saw regarding the making of the film Overnight. I don’t know if you have seen this, but it is great. You get to see a “nobody” lifted to the top levels of Hollywood and get slamned right back down - great stuff and a neat film.
