    Hello Michael,

I have enjoyed your podcasts very much and I thought I would drop you a note. I like your current format of keeping the reviews to a reasonably short length. I am also interested to hear more about your cinephile idea.

I also have some films and general types of movies that I would be interested in hearing you review. I typically get into off beat humor or science fiction. So I will just list a few picks that I think would be interesting and that most
people will probably not have seen:

Cannibal The Musical, Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s first movie (must be watched one time with the normal audio and again with the commentary turned on)

Freeway, stars Kiefer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon

Happiness, A great film with one of my favorites Phillip Seymour Hoffman

Magnolia, I am big Paul Thomas Anderson fan and I love this movie on many levels

Slums of Beverly Hills, another low budget film that I really enjoyed

Storm of the Century, This is actually a made for TV miniseries so I don’t know if it qualifies but I thoroughly enjoyed it

Repo Man, A great flick with a young Emilio Estevez

My taste in movies might be way off from yours but I thought I would throw those out there as some lesser known films.

I look forward to hearing your future reviews.

    Later,
    -Andy-

    Hi Michael,

I’ve been listening to your Real Review podcasts.

I think you’re doing a great job. I just stumbled into the podcast scene a couple weeks ago and heard about the RR podcast from the Adam Curry podcast.

You wanted some suggestions for future reviews on the Cinephile series.

I think Memento would be a great film. Plenty of stuff to talk about and certainly a movie that is difficult to explain without revealing the secrets.

Another idea would be Wag the Dog – a fun political movie with a great
    cast.

I also think that Simone or S1m0ne depending on how you want to spell it starring Al Pacino. I felt this film was missed by many people and really think it’s a lot of fun with some great inside humor regarding the entertainment industry.

    Keep up the good work.

    Brian
